The role is hybrid, offering a mix of in‑office and remote work, with emphasis on trial preparation and trial support alongside accomplished attorneys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of defense litigation experience.
• Experience with e-discovery and ESI databases.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially for hearings and trials.
• Strong attention to detail and quick learning.
• Proficiency in legal research including LexisNexis.
• Experience tracking and entering billable time.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, Nuance, and e-discovery platforms (Ipro/Relativity/Concordance/Summation).

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents (briefs, pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, settlements) for review.
• Manage extensive discovery preparation and coordinate discovery activities.
• Investigate facts and law to aid case strategy and litigation readiness.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes and cases.
• Review discovery, issue and track subpoenas.
• Prepare materials for experts and organize case files.
• Maintain case databases and NetDocs entries.
• Manage calendars and court deadlines.
• Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and vendors.
• Support e-discovery processes with internal and external teams.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial-related tasks.
