Job summary

Albers Aerospace is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support the detailed design, development, integration, and testing of advanced electronic systems for defense applications. Focus on mixed-signal electronics, embedded control circuitry, power management, and safety-critical electronics like ESADs.

The candidate should have strong analog/digital circuit design experience, PCB development, and hardware verification, moving from concept to prototype to fieldable system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years designing, developing, or testing electronic hardware.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and mixed-signal systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for defense systems.
• Lead electrical design activities: schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, simulation, and documentation.
• Develop embedded architectures with microcontrollers and digital interfaces.
• Design power management, regulation, energy storage, switching, and conditioning circuits.
• Support safety‑critical electronic systems including ESADs and fault monitoring.
• Collaborate across systems, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams; conduct design reviews and root‑cause investigations.
