Job summary

Applied Physical Sciences seeks a senior Electronics Engineer to design and sustain complex underwater electrical/electromechanical systems. You will develop custom PCBs, including mixed-signal designs with ADCs/DACs, microcontrollers, and power management, while interfacing with embedded processors.

Lab work, testing, and vendor coordination are essential. We value a strong background in high-density PCB layouts, signal integrity, and Linux-based interfacing, with DoD clearance consideration.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in electrical engineering with analog/digital circuit focus.
• Track record of custom PCB design for prototype/R&D systems.
• Experience with PCB layout/vendor management and lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, integration, troubleshooting, production, and sustainment of complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Design, procurement, and testing of custom analog/digital PCBs.
• Travel to support exercises and field operations.
• Project leadership and technical communication.
• Mentor junior staff in electronics design and debugging.
