Job summary

Adsys Controls, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop hardware for advanced aerospace and defense systems.

You will contribute to embedded electronics boards, electronics architecture for new products, and troubleshoot electronics issues in existing products. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong circuit design and documentation skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet demanding deadlines

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2-5 years relevant experience.
• Circuit design, schematic capture, layout, board bring-up, debug, manufacturing, and qualification.
• Strong data analytics and systems troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with engineering workflows including requirements capture, analysis, flow-down, development, manufacturing, as well as testing/verification.
• Creation and maintenance of engineering documentation for systems in development and through to production.
• Ability to handle aggressive deadlines with agility utilizing a results-driven approach.
• Highly skilled in data analysis and effective reporting of problems and solutions, through written and/or graphical formats.
• Effective interaction with other team members as well as individuals in other disciplines and organizations.
• Efficient presentation of information to all levels within the organization including peers and managers.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for complex electrical and optomechanical systems for aerospace and defense applications.
• Work on portions of designs of embedded electronics boards for precision electromechanical systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to meet system requirements and design specifications.
• Analyze complex issues, determine best methodologies, and contribute to all aspects of system development, test, and manufacturing.
• Operate independently and with supervision in a fast-paced, highly technical, cross-disciplinary environment.
