Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group - York County / South Charlotte's client, a defense-focused organization, seeks a Contracts & Compliance Manager to oversee federal contract administration, regulatory compliance, risk management, and export controls.

You will advise leadership and collaborate with program management, finance, engineering, procurement, security, and external government stakeholders to ensure FAR/DFARS compliance and contract success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Contracts and Compliance experience in the U.S. defense industry.
• Experience with government contracts and regulatory compliance programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee federal government contracts, subcontracts, POs, and related agreements.
• Review solicitations, SOWs, and contract docs to identify obligations and risks.
• Maintain complete contract files, approvals, modifications, and closeout docs.
• Coordinate modifications and change requests with internal teams and government reps.
• Support proposals by reviewing terms, clauses, and compliance requirements.
• Interpret FAR/DFARS and customer contractual requirements.
• Engage with Contracting Officers and vendors to maintain strong relationships.
