Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements with U.S. Defense Department customers.

You will define architectures for cloud solutions using AWS services, support RFI/RFP responses, and develop expertise across AWS platforms. The role requires a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work in Alabama, with collaboration across enterprise architecture teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and provide inputs to RFI/RFP responses.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around how applications are constructed on AWS.

Education

Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
