Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lines, move about decks, climb onto barges, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vessel readiness and perform tasks as directed by captain.
• Make up tows and manage barge tows under captain's direction.
• Clean and maintain deck; hosedown and stow gear when not in use.
• Record engine room readings and logs; monitor oil and fuel lines.
