Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in the United States seeks a Senior Server Systems Debug Engineer to join the Server Customer Engineering group. You will drive customer issues to closure and contribute to leading‑edge, industry‑standard technologies.

You will work on RAS, PCIe, Memory, MCA, CXL and micro‑controller related failures, collaborating with global AMD teams and using protocol analyzers, JTAG tools, and high‑speed test equipment to identify root causes across bring‑up, validation and production

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of total experience in server/system debugging and validation.
Experience with post-silicon validation methodologies.

Responsibilities

Work on RAS, PCIe, Memory, MCA, CXL and micro-controller related failures with customers to get problems resolved.
Collaborate with AMD global teams to identify best solutions.
Provide validation and debug recommendations to customers for validation, new features and debug related questions.
Utilize debug tools (e.g., debug scripts, protocol analyzers, SCAN and JTAG tools) to narrow down root causes.
Debug issues found during bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
Engage with software/hardware/design teams.
Lead task force and cross-team collaboration.
