Vanguard in Malvern, PA is seeking a Senior Debit Analyst to drive requirements management, operational readiness, process design, and governance for our debit card initiative. You will bridge strategy, product, operations, risk, compliance, legal and technology teams, translating business objectives into detailed documentation, workflows, and executable operating procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in card products, payments, money movement, or financial services operations.
• Ability to develop business requirements, process documentation, and operational procedures for complex initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and documentation quality.
• Experience coordinating across Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology.
• Experience with vendor implementations, operational readiness, or service delivery programs preferred.
• Knowledge of payment systems, debit card programs, ACH, money movement, fraud controls, or regulatory frameworks preferred.
• Strong written communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional requirements gathering efforts across product, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and technology stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive business requirements documentation, functional requirements, process flows, and supporting artifacts.
• Establish strong documentation governance, ensuring traceability from business objectives through implementation and operational execution.
• Support feature and experience prioritization and requirements refinement.
• Serve as a core member of the debit card delivery team, coordinating documentation, requirements, and operational readiness efforts across workstreams.
• Track dependencies, decisions, action items, and implementation deliverables to support successful execution.
• Partner closely with product and program leadership to ensure strategic initiatives are translated into executable business processes.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Support the design of operating procedures, workflows, and playbooks that support debit card and money movement capabilities.
• Document end-to-end operational processes and partner with operational teams to transition ownership and execution responsibilities.
• Participate in vendor evaluations, onboarding activities, and implementation planning.
• Support contract reviews by documenting business requirements, service expectations, and operational dependencies.
• Partner with product, operations, and vendor teams to ensure readiness for launch and ongoing support.
