Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile availability required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist and coordinate actions of County Medical Examiners in death scene investigations.
• Initiate cases in the case management database and gather background information for autopsy planning.
• Maintain chain of custody for decedents and property; coordinate releases with funeral homes and decedent transport vendors.
• Provide consultations with forensic pathologists for case triage and guidance on next steps.
