Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Morgantown is seeking a Table Games Associate to handle and supervise table games with professionalism and integrity. You will ensure rules are followed and maintain game pace while delivering memorable guest experiences.

The role requires speed and accuracy in cash handling, at least six years of table games experience, and prior poker exposure or completion of poker school. A basic math test and audition are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold 6 years of table games experience.
• Must be fast and accurate in handling cash.
• Six months of experience in customer service field preferred.
• Prior poker experience or successful completion of poker school required.
• Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test, and pass an audition displaying adequate poker skills.

• Responsible for dealing and conducting table game play while providing and maintaining an atmosphere of professionalism and integrity within the game.


• Responsible for ensuring gaming activity in your assigned table area is being conducted in accordance with all established rules and regulations while maintaining acceptable game pace and security to minimize potential theft.


• Provides customer service to all guests assuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable as a means of promoting return visits by the guest.


• Responsible for directly monitoring casino gaming activity in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, and workforce strength and compliance goals.


• Provides encouragement, sets high expectations, and sets proud and positive examples necessary to ensure a fun, exciting and professional working environment for our staff and a pleasant and entertaining experience for our guests.

• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment.


• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and mobility to move easily around pit area as well as entire property for entire shift.


• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues with excellent peripheral vision.


• Must be able to tolerate areas containing second‑hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.


• Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
