The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 5–20 years of DCS experience, plus strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–20 years of DCS design, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Experience with Honeywell Experion/TDC3000 DCS, Triconex PLC, Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, environmental protection as top priority.
• Provide technical guidance on the Deer Park VCM site DCS operations.
• Provide expertise in DCS/instrumentation controls for projects.
• Prepare scopes, estimates and schedules for control system projects.
• Coordinate control and instrument tasks to complete projects successfully.
• Assist with configuration, installation, and maintenance of DCS/SIS, PLCs and historians.
• Manage standalone instrumentation and control projects.
• Develop programming documentation for hazard analyses and reviews.
• Recommend up-to-date process control systems and cost-effective technologies.
• Support DCS operations and performance with troubleshooting and improvement programs.
• Oversee field construction, loop checks, and final commissioning of DCS/PLC equipment.
• Define spare parts and preventive maintenance for DCS components.
