OxyChem in Thorold, Ontario is seeking an experienced DCS/Process Engineer to design, implement, and maintain distributed control systems in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. You will work with Emerson DeltaV, Aveva PI, and CAD tools, ensure safety, support cyber security, optimize processes, and provide 24/7 support as needed.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree and at least three years in process engineering, with strong problem solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires University Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of Process Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV software and hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protection of environment, health and safety as priority.
• Develop and configure DCS and HMI in a fast-paced plant.
• Ensure cyber security for control systems and support IT.
• Maintain DCS service, spare parts, and lifecycle updates.
• Provide 24/7 support and training for personnel.
