Maverick Power LLC in Phoenix seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced DC power systems for critical infrastructure, including data centers, telecommunications, and renewable energy applications.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in DC power systems engineering, strong background in power electronics, and proven leadership in delivering reliable, scalable power solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in DC power systems engineering.
• Experience designing DC power systems for data centers, telecom, or renewable energy applications.
• Proficiency with design tools: AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB, PSpice.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high‑efficiency DC power systems (rectifiers, PDUs).
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project lifecycles from requirements to maintenance.
• Optimize energy efficiency, reliability, and scalability; integrate renewables.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, UL, NEC and industry standards.
