Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical in Phoenix seeks a Senior Level Electrical Engineer to direct and execute electrical design for mission critical data center projects. You will drive concept discussions and develop design plans for permitting and construction, coordinating with design leads and clients.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of facility electrical design, Revit proficiency, and experience with power studies such as Neher-McGrath and arc flash.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of facility electrical design experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for drawing development.
• Experience leading electrical design teams and interfacing with clients.
• Experience performing power studies (Neher-McGrath, short circuit, coordination, arc flash).

Responsibilities

• Direct and execute electrical design for mission critical facilities.
• Coordinate with internal and external disciplines and clients.
• Lead engineers, designers and modelers to deliver multiple projects.
• Mentor and train engineers, designers and modelers to grow electrical design knowledge.
• Meet project deadlines and travel 10–20% as needed.
