Job summary

Discount Tire is seeking a General Manager to lead the Product Distribution Center, guiding strategy, KPI execution, and service levels for stores and customers. You will spearhead a multi-channel facility startup and develop new processes leveraging best-in-class systems.

The role requires 8+ years in distribution/SC operations, 5+ years in leadership, and experience with WMS/OMS/TMS/LMS. A bachelor’s in supply chain is required, with certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in material handling, automation, manufacturing, supply chain or distribution.
• 5+ years in supervisory or management roles.
• Experience with DC startups preferred.
• Experience with WMS/OMS/TMS/LMS implementations or upgrades.
• Strong data analytics and root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup of a key strategic multi-channel facility within the Discount Tire Supply Chain.
• Drive vendor relationships to scale operations while optimizing cost.
• Plan and manage distribution center functions to meet supply chain goals.
• Monitor expenses and manage variances within budget.
• Develop and enforce safety programs and compliance.
• Provide training and development for staff and leaders.
