Job summary

American Tire Distributors in Tampa, FL is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and delivery operations, leading shifts and driving safety, quality, and on-time fulfillment in coordination with the General Manager.

You will onboard and train staff, coach performance, manage relationships, and deploy continuous improvement initiatives while modeling ATD's values and ensuring compliance with SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 5 years related experience including 2–3 years supervisory.
• Experience in distribution center operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day activities for warehouse associates and/or delivery associates assigned to different shifts.
• Onboard and train team members; Coach, motivate, and manage performance.
• Investigate employee relations or performance concerns in a timely manner; implement disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with human resources.
• Lead daily huddles at the DC to ensure employees understand work tasks, expectations and deliverables, and to build a values-based culture.
• Provide leadership support for the DC General Manager and ensure adherence to quality standards, safety, and SOPs.
