Job summary

American Tire Distributors seeks a Distribution Center Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse and delivery activities, supervise shifts, and develop the team. You will onboard staff, coach performance, and partner with HR on disciplinary actions when needed.

Qualifications

High School or GED degree and 5 years of related experience, including 2–3 years of supervisory experience.
Proven ability to plan, organize, analyze data, and manage inventory and scheduling.
Experience leading shifts, onboarding, coaching, and performance discussions.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and manage day-to-day activities for warehouse and delivery associates on assigned shifts.
Onboard and train team members; coach, motivate, and manage performance.
Investigate employee relations or performance concerns with HR guidance, and apply disciplinary action as needed.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff; lead daily DC huddles to align tasks and culture.
Support DC General Manager; ensure safety, quality, and delivery goals are met.
Adhere to quality, health & safety, and compliance standards; drive continuous improvement.
