Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Fountain Inn, SC distribution center.

You will be the subject matter expert for automated material handling and building systems, providing daily technical support and solving complex mechanical and electrical issues to maximize uptime. This 24x7 on-site role requires PLC troubleshooting, power distribution knowledge, and the ability to work in teams with external partners. Shift hours include nights; on-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Technical degree with hands-on maintenance background.
• Experience maintaining automated material handling systems preferred.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary responder for automated material handling system issues (24x7).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic components.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve problems and implement improvements.
• Audit and monitor equipment performance; report on system metrics.
