Job summary

WMFHA in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support automated manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLCs, robotics, and industrial controls.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions while collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with PLCs, robotics, controls systems, and VFDs.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment.
Maintain PLC-controlled systems, robotics, VFDs, motors, and sensors.
Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance.
Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
