Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Sr. DC Department Lead in Massachusetts. The role involves setting daily plans, directing staff, and training new hires while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Reports to Department Manager/Supervisor, with responsibilities across production goals and workflow management. You will monitor performance, coach team members, and engage in ongoing leadership development, with a focus on accountability and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Department Manager/Supervisor to determine production goals, daily operational tasks, monitor performance, and adjust team member work assignments as needed.
• Initiate and direct training, coach, and develop team members while holding them accountable on job performance and productivity.
• Observe team members to ensure correct processes and policies are followed and demonstrated in training.
• Knowledge of WMS applications or ability to learn to audit, research, and resolve inventory variances; respond to team questions and issues.
• Be a positive example and drive a Culture of Safety First; participate in daily business meetings with leadership.
