Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Sr. DC Department Lead to assist the Manager/Supervisor with daily plans, team assignments, and training. The role requires coordinating production goals, department audits, and adherence to safety policies.

The position emphasizes leadership, accountability, and cross-department collaboration within a distribution center environment, with flexibility for shift adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Determine production goals and daily tasks with the Department Manager/Supervisor
• Direct training and coaching of team members and ensure policy compliance
• Audit inventory variances using WMS or learn to do so
• Communicate clearly with team and leadership to coordinate daily activities
• Participate in daily business meetings and Safety Committee activities
• Be a role model for Safety First and accountability across shifts
