NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Data Validation & DBT Engineer to drive data validation for the Data Warehouse Modernization program. The role emphasizes validating migrated pipelines, SQL-based reconciliation, and defect diagnostics with Informatica to DBT modernization efforts.

You will validate lineage, support SIT, and collaborate with developers to accelerate issue resolution, ensuring high data quality across staging, core, and mart layers in a cloud data platform environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Warehouse/ETL experience with data validation focus.
• 2+ years hands-on DBT experience (Core or Cloud) and Snowflake knowledge.
• Strong Informatica familiarity and ability to map to DBT models.
• Experience supporting SIT, defect triage, and data reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Perform end-to-end source-to-target data validation across Informatica and DBT implementations.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, transformations, and business rules across layers.
• Execute record count, aggregate, reconciliation, SCD, and incremental-load validation.
• Analyze data discrepancies and identify root causes before routing defects to dev teams.
• Prepare SQL evidence, impacted records, and detailed defect diagnostics.
• Participate in SIT defect triage and accelerate issue resolution with teams.
• Validate data lineage and trace data flow across source systems, DBT models, and Snowflake objects.
• Translate Informatica mappings into DBT models where needed and support deployment validation.
