Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a senior DBT/ETL engineer to design and implement multi-layer dbt architectures, partner with Snowflake developers, and ensure alignment with legacy Informatica outputs. You will lead testing, documentation, and performance tuning across the data stack.

The role requires extensive experience in DBT development, conformed dimensional modeling, and strong collaboration across teams to deliver reliable data assets and scalable pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in modern ELT/transformation engineering.
• DBT project standards, modular design, testing frameworks, docs.
• Lead conformed Silver layer models across Policy, Claims, Billing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement staging, core, and mart dbt layers using standard patterns.
• Develop and maintain dbt tests (schema, data, custom) for quality.
• Implement snapshots, seeds, macros, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with Snowflake developers to optimize data structures.
• Ensure legacy Informatica outputs align with new dbt outputs.
• Performance tune dbt models and Snowflake queries.
• Integrate dbt with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Contribute to documentation of dbt models, data lineage, and business rules.
• Participate in defect analysis, fixes, and enhancements during migration.
