NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Migration Engineer with DBA experience to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives from remote locations in the US.

The role blends data engineering with Oracle DBA skills, overseeing design, development, testing, and production support while coordinating with DBAs, developers, QA, and client stakeholders. You will drive dbt workflows, Airflow-Scheduler deployments, and CI/CD practices, while mentoring onshore and offshore teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience solving complex data engineering problems from design through delivery.
• 5+ years of Python production experience with parallelism and batch data processing.
• 5+ years of SQL experience with complex joins, window functions, and large datasets.
• 3+ years of dbt Core experience with models, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
• 1+ years of Airflow DAG authoring and scheduling integration.
• 1+ years of Oracle DBA experience including schema, db links, and performance tuning.

Mansioni

• Architect and design data engineering solutions from design to build and delivery.
• Develop, deploy, and support dbt workflows across development, QA, and production.
• Create reusable Oracle PL/SQL packages, schemas, synonyms, database links, and scheduler jobs.
• Develop Airflow DAGs and manage workflow scheduling, deployment, and monitoring.
• Manage Git branching, merges, and CI/CD release deployments.
• Troubleshoot failures and drive root-cause analysis with DBAs and developers.
• Analyze Oracle performance and tune queries across db links.
• Baseline database users and ensure environment readiness for development and releases.
• Mentor developers on standards, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Act as technical point of contact for developers, QA, DBAs, and clients; maintain runbooks and automation scripts.
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to technical documentation and handover materials.
