Job summary

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in database administration.
• Strong to expert knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL databases.
• Ability to provide dynamic problem documentation.
• Ability to support scheduled after-hours maintenance.
• Experience serving as queue manager to assign tickets.
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting databases at scale.
• Full project lifecycle experience: design, development, implementation, documentation.
• Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience; Linux familiarity required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert database administration support across Oracle, Postgres, and MS SQL environments.
• Perform daily health checks, backups, and monitor datacenter resources.
• Coordinate release notices, maintenance, and deployment of new servers/databases.
• Contribute to documentation and training improvements.
