Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in database administration.
• 10+ years focused on Oracle 19c+ administration.
• 3+ years of people management or team leadership.
• 3+ years hands-on MS SQL Server 2012+ and PostgreSQL experience.
• Expert PL/SQL coding, debugging, and query optimization.
• Linux system administration and bash scripting proficiency.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure SQL, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience designing high-availability solutions (clustering, replication, failover).
• Familiarity with SOC2/ISO27001 regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a DBA team; manage workload and performance.
• Define and execute database infrastructure strategy aligned with growth.
• Oversee Oracle, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud.
• Enforce security, governance, change management, and lifecycle processes.
• Drive automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with security, development, and infrastructure teams.
