Job summary

Shrive Technologies LLC seeks a senior PostgreSQL Database Lead to drive migration and modernization initiatives in our Raleigh, NC offices. You will own design and implementation of PostgreSQL solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and robust backup strategies.

Lead cross-functional teams, mentor DBAs and developers, and collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data platforms and reliable cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of database experience with 5+ years in PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL administration, replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Strong AWS experience with RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS DMS, and AWS SCT.
• Experience migrating Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server databases to PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
