Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to administer and maintain SQL Server, Azure SQL, and InfluxDB across on-premises and cloud environments. You will ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and capacity.

You will manage backups, recovery, patching, performance tuning, security, access controls, and deployment automation using Flyway and GitHub Actions, with Jenkins where applicable. Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployments and problem resolution, and provide on-call

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience administering SQL Server on-premises.
Experience with SQL Server Managed Instance, Azure SQL, and Azure Managed PostgreSQL.
Experience with InfluxDB and time-series databases.
Experience with Flyway and GitHub Actions.
Experience across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
