Job summary

Banda Group International (BGI) is seeking a remote Solutions Architect to guide enterprise data platforms built on Databricks, including data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and streaming workloads. You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and business teams to establish best practices, support platform modernization, and drive the adoption of new Databricks capabilities.

• Minimum seven years of experience designing, implementing, and operating Databricks solutions.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the architecture, design, and implementation of Databricks solutions.
• Design and guide data migration, integration, streaming, and zero-copy data sharing strategies.
• Establish security, governance, compliance, performance optimization, and cost management best practices.
• Mentor data engineers, analysts, and AI/ML teams, participate in architecture reviews, and contribute to technical standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies and ensure compliance.
