You will advise on architectures, lead Databricks projects, optimize Spark workloads, and guide migrations from legacy systems such as Hadoop/Flink to modern platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional services or client-facing consulting experience.
4+ years in Data Engineering with at least 2–3 major Databricks projects.
Completion of the Data Engineering Professional certification.
Strong Apache Spark background with Hadoop, Flink, Presto experience.
Completed Databricks tracks: Spark Programming, Data Engineering with Databricks, Optimizing Spark on Databricks.
Deep knowledge of Multi-hop (Bronze/Silver/Gold) pipeline and Delta Lake.
Experience in Linux environments and financial markets background.

Responsibilities

Translate client requirements into robust technical architectures.
Architect and implement end-to-end data processing workflows using Databricks Multi-hop architecture.
Tune Spark jobs for cost efficiency and high throughput.
Guide clients in migrating from legacy systems to modern data platforms.
