BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Senior Database Report Writer/Analyst in Columbia, SC. You will create and maintain database reports, analyze methodologies, and support data retrieval for end users while collaborating with the Finance team and project groups.

The role requires US citizenship for clearance, 3 years with DB2/SQL, and 5 total years of related work experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required with 5 years of total experience.
• 3 years experience with database, mainframe, or spreadsheet applications.
• 3 years experience with Easytrieve, DB2, SQL, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Creates reports in accordance with user information and specifications.
• Maintains/revises programming logic for existing routine reports to report timely and accurate data.
• Generates routine internal and external reports daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Interviews customers to obtain criteria for requested data.
• Assists with system testing and provides technical support.
• Participates on project teams to develop, maintain, and implement new processes, applications, policies, and forms.
