Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is looking for a data reporting analyst to create and maintain reports, retrieve data, and support customers with data criteria. The role is remote, full-time, with standard business hours and no sponsorship eligibility.

You will analyze reporting methods, update programming logic, and participate in project teams to implement new processes and tools. A strong background in database/spreadsheet work and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years related work experience.
• 3 years of database, mainframe, or spreadsheet experience.
• 3 years with Easytrieve, DB2, SQL, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Create reports based on user information and specifications.
• Maintain/revise programming logic for routine reports.
• Analyze current reporting methodologies.
• Create and maintain data retrieval systems for reporting.
• Generate routine internal and external reports daily to annually.
• Interview customers to obtain data criteria.
• Assist with system testing and technical support.
• Participate in projects to develop new processes, applications, policies.
