Job summary

Maximus seeks a Database Engineer to support the USAF mission with analytical skills for process improvement, specialized studies, and requirement definition. Responsibilities include analysis, planning, documents, modeling, and architectures.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly, 10+ years in the field, and 5+ years with Enterprise DB and 7 years with PostgreSQL. Travel up to 10–20% may be needed; salary ranges from $135,000 to $160,000, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in the functional area.
• 10 years of combined experience in: (a) Database development and software engineering/development; (b) Database design and data modeling; (c) Requirements analysis/generation; (d) Developing systems and software architectures.
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area. Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree may substitute for 2 years).
• 10 years of combined experience in: (a) Database development and software engineering/development; (b) Database Design and Data Modeling; (c) Requirements analysis/generation; (d) Developing systems and software architectures.
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Required Certification: DCWF Job Code: 421 Advanced
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
• Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.
