Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Database Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for a USAF mission. The role emphasizes analytic support for process improvement, requirements development, and creating functional models and architectures within a multi-tiered environment.

Applicants must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly and at least 10 years in related areas, including 7 years with PostgreSQL and 5 years with Enterprise DB. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• 10 years combined experience in database development and software engineering, design, and architecture.
• 5 years' experience with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years' experience with PostgreSQL.
• DCWF Job Code: 421 Advanced certification is preferred.
• Experience developing automated installation scripts.
• Experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for process improvement and specialized studies.
• Develop requirements documents and functional architectures.
• Build and model data and procedures for database systems.
• Travel up to 10–20% of the time.
