Job summary

Maximus seeks a Database Engineer to support the USAF mission with subject matter expertise in data, analysis, and architecture. The role covers requirements definition, models, and procedures, ensuring robust database solutions.

The position is remote and requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly, plus 10+ years in the field; travel of 10-20% may be required. Salary ranges from $135,000 to $160,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 10 years total experience in the functional area.
• 10 years combined in database development and software engineering, design, requirements, architectures.
• 5 years' experience with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years' experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing automated installation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• 10 years of combined experience in: (a) Database development and software engineering/development; (b) Database Design and Data Modeling; (c) Requirements analysis/generation; (d) Developing systems and software architectures.
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.
