Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Database Engineer to provide subject matter expertise for USAF missions. You will analyze, plan, and develop requirements documents, models, and architectures to support process improvement and system development.

The role requires active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly, and about 10 years of combined experience across database development, design, modeling, and architectures. Some travel to sites (10–20%) may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• 10 years of combined experience in: (a) Database development and software engineering/development; (b) Database Design and Data Modeling; (c) Requirements analysis/generation; (d) Developing systems and software architectures.
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
• Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
• Role may require travel to a site 10-20% of the time.

The Database Engineer provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.

This position is remote a requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
