Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Senior Database Engineer/Database Administrator IV to design, deploy, automate, and sustain enterprise database platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments.

This remote, contract role focuses on Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Terraform, and Ansible to support modernization and audit remediation initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders, own performance tuning, configurations, and deployments, and contribute to governance and security improvements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Database Administration/Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Azure database platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automation experience with Ansible.
• Database deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience in enterprise database operations across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
