Job summary

ELEVI in Maryland seeks a DBE specialist to lead database design, development, and integration for complex systems. You will directly influence schema design, data integrity and performance while coordinating with development teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings a decade of DBE experience, strong Oracle-stack skills, Linux proficiency, and the ability to translate requirements into scalable data structures. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

Ten years of DBE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
Five years of additional DBE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Extensive experience with Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Data Guard.
Linux OS, Linux commands and Bash scripting experience.
Nice to have: Mongo experience.

Responsibilities

Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.
Support analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and maintenance efforts.
Develop databases, database parser software, and database loading software.
Translate requirements into a usable database schema by creating or updating ad hoc queries and scripts.
Lead development of database structures and databases that fit the system architecture.
