BTS Software Solutions in Ft. Meade, MD seeks a Database Engineer III with an active TS/SCI w/ POLY to join our team. The role focuses on database design, development, and integration within complex architectures and cloud environments.

You will translate requirements into usable database structures, develop queries and scripts, and lead database design efforts throughout the life cycle from inception to IOC, ensuring performance and security.

Qualifikationen

• MUST possess current IAT Level 2 certification.
• Ten years of DE experience required or may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• Develop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Lead development of database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.
• Develop a database structure that fits into the system architecture with trade-offs among data volumes, users, security and performance.
• Translate requirements into usable database schemas by creating/adapting queries, scripts, and macros.
