Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise database platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or MySQL databases and cloud variants.
• Demonstrated experience designing highly available database environments and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise database platforms including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and cloud-native services.
• Design and maintain highly available database architectures including clustering, replication, and backup/recovery.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, schema deployments, patching, and health monitoring.
• Drive modernization via scripting, IaC, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with software development teams to establish database standards and CI/CD pipelines for changes.
