Job summary

Ares Management Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Cloud, DevOps, and Operations organization. The role focuses on designing, building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-based infrastructure powering critical services.

The candidate should have strong software engineering skills with cloud expertise, IaC, CI/CD, and platform operations experience, plus a drive to improve reliability, scalability, security, and automation across the tech stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and services.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps delivery.
• Full-stack development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that support business and technology objectives.
• Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and improve deployment reliability.
• Support enterprise platforms and applications through advanced Level 3 production support and incident resolution.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health and operational stability.
• Partner with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
