The individual in this role will perform database analysis, design, and administration functions to support strategic projects aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, Couchbase, or PostgreSQL in an enterprise environment.

To succeed in IDT's dynamic environment, candidates must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of defining, planning, and executing long-term goals. Strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, troubleshooting skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
• 8-10 years of DBA experience
• Deep experience with Oracle, MongoDB, or MySQL databases
• Experience with databases hosted on Linux
• Knowledge of database architecture and high availability solutions
• Experience with Amazon RDS platform
• Troubleshooting application issues and designing database objects
• Nice to have: System or Network administration experience, PostgreSQL, Couchbase

It's okay if you are a MongoDB expert with less exposure to Oracle or MySQL; deep expertise in MongoDB is welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Database administration tasks including provisioning MongoDB clusters, designing collections, indexes, and SQL queries
• Software installation, patches, upgrades
• Schema changes, tuning, replication, backup, and recovery management
• Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotation
