Job summary

Synchron, LLC seeks a Senior Database Management Analyst to deliver data analytics support for DPAE Maritime M & S, the Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

The role involves administering databases, implementing security measures, and coordinating data calls to inform government leadership, with a focus on accuracy and timely communication. Remote work options are available with occasional on-site engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of professional experience related to database management.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
• Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
• Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
• Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
