Job summary

Synchron, LLC seeks a Mid-Level Database Management Analyst to provide data analytics support to DPAE Maritime M & S, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to manage data and information flows. Responsibilities include maintaining the program knowledge environment (SharePoint and file systems), mapping data models, and generating metrics to assess data management effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience related to database management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the program knowledge environment, information exchange, and collaborative situation (SharePoint and file management).
• Maintain information flow requirements supporting program mission and operations; lead sessions to gather requirements and build data models.
• Review and report project metrics to customers to benchmark data management effectiveness and designs.
• Map conceptual designs for exercise scenarios and translate into data models.
