Job summary

Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Database Management Analyst to provide data analytics support to DPAE Maritime M & S, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

In this role, you will administer and secure databases, coordinate data calls, and prepare briefing materials for government leadership, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and ensure program readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of professional experience related to database management.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitask.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
• Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
• Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
• Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
