Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an Expert Database Architect and L2 Technical Operational Support for the New York State IT Services on behalf of the NYS Department of Transportation. The role focuses on designing data infrastructure, integrating data sources, and ensuring secure, scalable applications.

Responsibilities include SSDLC participation, ODI/ELT/ETL improvements, and collaboration with business SMEs, vendors, and IT teams to meet project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Interact with agency/business subject matter experts to understand business needs/requirements, Vendors of COTS products, and IT teams to determine and design application and system requirements.
• Design data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals to access.
• Identify internal and external data sources, collaborating with business subject matter experts to determine their data storage and organizational needs and use the information to create and maintain data infrastructure.
• Participate in the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) including debugging and configuring solution.
• Identify ODI/ELT and ETL process and architecture improvements.
• Assist and verify design of solution and production of all design phase deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Agency/business SMEs, Vendors, and IT teams to determine and design application and system requirements.
• Design data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized access.
• Identify data sources and collaboration with SMEs to determine storage and organization needs.
• Participate in SSDLC, including debugging and configuring solutions.
• Identify and implement ODI/ELT and ETL improvements.
• Deploy fully functional applications and manage incidents and requests via ticketing system.
