Job summary

Talentify seeks an Expert Database Architect to provide L2 technical operational support for the NYS IT Services on behalf of the NYS Department of Transportation. The role focuses on designing data infrastructure, managing ODI/ELT/ETL processes, and ensuring secure, scalable data solutions.

You will collaborate with agency SMEs, vendors, and IT teams to gather requirements, implement robust data architectures, and deliver high-quality design deliverables throughout the SSDLC.

Qualifications

• Extract and organize data for authorized access.
• Design data infrastructure to support data extraction.
• Participate in SSDLC including debugging and configuring solutions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business SMEs and IT teams to determine requirements.
• Identify data sources and storage needs for data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain data infrastructure and architecture for ODI/ELT/ETL solutions.
• Publish and present design reports.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Audit databases regularly to maintain quality and security.
