Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Senior Database Analyst to design, implement, and maintain data systems supporting translational research in psychiatry. You will build ETL processes, harmonize diverse data sources, and create dashboards for real-time monitoring.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, or related field with 3+ years experience.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and data pipeline development.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and SAS with experience in statistical modeling and ML techniques.
• Familiarity with FDA, ICH, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and GCP regulations related to data systems and governance.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational and non-relational databases for multimodal clinical research.
• Develop ETL routines and data quality controls.
• Create dashboards, query tools, and reports for real-time analytics.
• Coordinate with NYU MCIT EDW team on data warehouse updates and data issues.
• Ensure data security, access controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
