Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking a Data Analyst - Education to join NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, Mineola. This role collects, validates, analyzes, and reports data to support data‑driven decisions across the medical school, developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support accreditation, institutional effectiveness, outcomes assessment, strategic planning, and CQI.

• Bachelor's degree in data science, information science, business administration or healthcare administration or related field.
• 1-3 years progressively responsible experience in education or healthcare analytics.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and performance metrics.
• Experience working with relational databases and enterprise data systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects, integrates, validates, and analyzes data from multiple institutional systems.
• Develops, maintains, and automates dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, SQL, and Databricks.
• Produces recurring and ad hoc reports to support accreditation and strategic initiatives.
• Develops and monitors institutional KPIs and outcome measures.
• Performs statistical analyses and supports data governance practices.
